Chongwen Pavilion
Chongwen Pavilion was initially built in memory of Wen Tianxiang in Ming Dynasty. Since then it had undergone several repairs. In 1984 it was rebuilt. In the pavilion an anonymously unilateral couplet “the sea and the sky are too far away to tear clouds; the mountains are too shallow to plant jade” is waiting for someone to complete the other side of the couplet. |
